Tuesday, September 21

Today was a beautiful day at sea.  The wind was down and allowed us to go on the observation deck.  The “modern art” pieces on the deck are really replacement blade to the ship’s propellers.  You can see the wake created by our 22 knot progress through the Atlantic.

Marsha and I went to the gym for some exercise on the treadmill.  Later in the day Marsha took a yoga class and the stretch class.

For dinner we went to Chef’s Galley.  About 20 of our fellow passengers were treated to a cooking lesson and dinner.  Tonight was a treat for this group of Texans…Steak House.  Appetizers were a duo of Shrimp Cocktail and Caesar Salad.  The Caesar Dressing was light and tasty it will become a regular part of our recipe book.  Our table chose Rib-Eye Steak and Veal Chop.  The Peppercorn and Béarnaise Sauces were delicious (our Chef is know for his training in sauces while he worked in Monaco).  We enjoyed this dinner so much we are going to sign up for the French, Italian and Spa Chef’s Galley before the cruise is over.

No shows or dancing tonight after a filling meal it was time to go to bed.
